In 2023, after completing his 42nd Season with Stillwater Area High School Boys Cross Country and Track and Field, Coach Scott Christensen retired.

Because "The Machine" has made such an impact on so many, Stillwater XCTF created the Legacy Fund in his honor.  Donations will be used to create an endowment which will sustain the program into the future.
